Since 1824, the Chi Phi Fraternity has existed for the purpose of promoting brotherhood and individual growth through truth, honor, friendship, personal integrity and academic excellence. The Rho Chapter of Chi Phi was established at Lafayette College in 1874, with the chapter house, Vallamont, being completed in 1909.

Just as it did last spring, Lafayette has filed more preliminary objections to our complaint.

We've updated our plan of return. It now includes a matrix that shows that we had addressed the points of the Lafayette's "Report on Greek Life and the Campus Community" ahead of its release. This was theoretically presented again to the Board of Trustees in October, but it doesn't seem to have been considered or voted on.
The Lafayette College chapter of the Chi Phi Fraternity is actively looking to identify interested and prospective new members.
We had our first informational meeting for interested students in April and met many outstanding, enthusiastic men. We had followed up with two additional sessions in September and October at Campus Pizza's banquet facility on McCartney St. We look forward to meeting more interested men and will keep you posted on future events!
