Since 1824, the Chi Phi Fraternity has existed for the purpose of promoting brotherhood and individual growth through truth, honor, friendship, personal integrity and academic excellence. The Rho Chapter of Chi Phi was established at Lafayette College in 1874, with the chapter house, Vallamont, being completed in 1909.

The Spirit of Brian Keller Scholarship Fund
The undergraduate Brothers will memorialize our late Brother Brian Keller '16 by creating the "Spirit of Brian Keller True Gentleman" Scholarship. This scholarship will be presented annually to the Chi Phi undergraduate Brother who most demonstrates Brian's spirit in both word and deed. To begin the funding for this scholarship - and to demonstrate strong alumni support for Rho Chapter's return to full status on Lafayette's campus - we invite you and your family to return to Vallamont on June 3 and 4, 2016.
It's time to signup for these important events! Please get in touch with you classmates and make your plans now. Show your support for these events in June by registering now!
And please remember that even if you can't make it back to campus, you can still contribute to the scholarship fund and/or buy a shirt.

On January 9, we filed a brief in support of our motion for post-trial relief. It's available for your review. Chapter 19 summarizes this filing in layman's terms.
In a results-oriented decision, the Court of Common Pleas for Northampton County found that while Rho Chapter owns Vallamont, we can't use it – at least until the College says we can. Full details are here, including the text of the decision and Chapter 17 which explains what's next and Chapter 18 which describes the post-trial motions that we filed.
Our Plan of Return
Our Plan of Return was theoretically presented again to the Board of Trustees in October 2011, this time with a matrix that shows that we had addressed the points of the Lafayette's "Report on Greek Life and the Campus Community" ahead of its release. However, it doesn't seem to have been considered or voted on.
