Dear Fellow Chi Phis,

Lafayette will be hosting its annual Reunion Weekend June 1-3, 2007. After speaking with a few brothers, we unanimously agreed that this weekend could provide us with a tremendous opportunity for holding our own Chi Phi Reunion. For those of us who would be returning for your latest five-year gathering, the chance to meet up with other brothers should create an additional incentive to visit the College. For all of the brotherhood from off years, this event should provide an opportunity to catch up with close friends whom we rarely get a chance to see. Hence, our Chi Phi Reunion has been officially scheduled for Friday, June 1.

Our Chi Phi Reunion will begin on Friday, June 1. We will join the Reunion golf outing at the Club at Morgan Hill on Friday morning, and our brothers will be grouped into foursomes. The cost is $100 per person. This includes golf and cart, continental breakfast, dogs and beer/soda at the turn, and a post match reception with hors d’oeuvres, full bar, and prizes. Details for golf registration are mentioned below. The golf outing winds up at about 4:30 p.m.

There will be some time for golfers to clean up before we begin our main Chi Phi Reunion event on campus at 7:00 p.m. We hope you can join us back at the house, for a private informal BBQ featuring wings, hot dogs, hamburgers, and the like with beer/wine /soda. The cost will be $20 per person, some of the BBQ is compensated by the Alumni board to keep this fee low. The registration form for the Chi Phi BBQ must be mailed back to the Alumni Office for reservations by May 1. Participants will be mailed wristbands for admission to the event. We will also send email updates to all brothers on who will be attending the big day.

All Alumni Reunion Weekend amenities from housing to meals will be available to all brothers -- Reunion years and off years. The College will seat brothers together at general Reunion meals. There will be a full schedule of events on and around campus during the weekend, and we are all welcome to join any events of interest. There will be many opportunities to catch up with other alumni as well as tour the campus.

The official Reunion brochure and registration materials will be mailed to all brothers in reunion classes. You can also register online at http://www.lafayetteexperience.com/alumni/news/reunion_07.html. You must use the CLASS REGISTRATION FORM to register for Friday golf. Please note there that you wish to be grouped with Chi Phi for the golf outing.

If you are from an off year, and you would like to register for Friday golf, you need to call the Alumni Office at 610-330-5040 and request an OPEN YEAR REGISTRATION FORM. You can use this form to also sign up for any general meals or housing that you might need during your stay.
